Minimum academic performance requirements of the Master of Science in Information and Communication Technologies (MINT)

Given the outstanding academic achievements and excellent background of the students ADMITTED to the Master MINT it is not expected that these students will have any difficulty satisfying all requirements of the Master program, i.e., passing all courses in the CORE and specialization semesters, and producing a high quality Master Thesis.

Nevertheless, in order to ensure excellence of the Master MINT, the Board of this Master has established a set of rules to which all Master MINT students will be subject. These rules are the following:

1.      Registering for all required  credits (30 ECTS) scheduled per semester is mandatory

2.      Achieving a minimum academic performance, which consists of:

• Obtaining not less that 20 ECTS credits per semester.
• Completing the Master in at most four semesters.

3.      Students not achieving the minimum academic performance required will be withdrawn from the Master program.

The Master MINT Board will be there to guide students throughout the Master program. The Board may also assess particular cases of students failing to comply with the minimum requirements and re-consider withdrawing them.

These rules only apply to the students once they are admitted to the CORE semester. The minimum academic performance required for students requested to complete the BRIDGE semester will be set up case by case according to the academic record of each applicant.
