Sponsoring and collaborating companies

 
From ETSETB we want to thank all the effort of the sponsoring and collaborating companies, that allows the complementary training activities and the work placement of our students.
"Cātedres d'Empresa"
The companies play a very important role in the external financing of the Schools. With this idea, the University brings together in the so-called “Càtedres-Empresa” the initiatives to approach University and Company. The aims of the “Càtedres-Empresa” are:
  • To organize dissemination activities, like seminars, conferences, round table discussions, among others.
  • To encourage innovative projects in a field of common interest ETSETB-company.
  • To establish a collaboration framework between ETSETB and the Institutions
At present, there are two “càtedres d’empresa” linked to ETSETB
 
Besides, the "Càtedra Hewlett Packard en Imatge i Edició Digital" collaborates with ETSETB by awarding prizes.

Awards to the best academic files
  • Accenture awards
    Since the year 2004-2005, the company Accenture awards economical prizes to the students with the best resumes of ETSETB Telecommunication and Electronic Engineering . The awards ceremony takes place at the official opening of the academic year.
  • ETSETB awards
    The ETSETB rewards the best resumes of ETSETB Telecommunication and Electronic Engineering and the Inernational Master with the gift of a lithograph. The awards ceremony takes place at the official opening of the academic year.

Companies awards to the best master theses
The students that have presented their master thesis during the previous year are eligible for one of the company awards announced, having previously applied for it. At present, there are 3 awards to the best master thesis for ETSETB students in different application fields. They are economical awards and their presentation takes place at the official opening of the academic year.
  • Accenture Award to the Best Master Thesis in Telematics Services.
  • HP Award to the Best Master Thesis in Image Processing.
  • Red.es Award Red.es to the Best Master Thesis in Information Systems.
The announcements will be published during the month of July at the School web.
